Each week of our MasterClass Madness competition and fundraiser, we have partnered with several amazing theatre and television professionals, who will be adjudicating the competition and providing masterclass critiques to our participants.*

Our Adjudicators

Becky Cherlin Baird, or Broadway Becky, is called the “Pied Piper of Children’s Theatre” across the country. A graduate of the University of Arizona, BFA, Becky has been producing and directing Children's Theatre professionally for over 25 years. She was on the First National Tour of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat as the Children's Choir Director and Casting Director. Currently, Becky teaches one on one with students as well as runs and produces workshops for groups and parents. She worked with the kids on Food Networks' Chopped Jr., the Broadway Productions of “The King and I” “Fiddler on the Roof” and “Matilda” (tour) and is a proud member of Actor’s Equity Association and Local 764, Child Guardian Union. Currently, she is producing workshops for “A Parent’s Guide to Broadway."

Deven MacNair is known for her work on Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (2014), Green Lantern (2011) and Heist (2015). Some may recognize her for her guest role as Vanessa Colson, the wrestler, in a 2013 episode of Disney's Jessie. And some may recognize her as professional wrestler FREEDOM in G.L.O.W. and FIRE! in Independent Wrestling. Currently, Devyn continues to work as a stuntwoman on numerous upcoming projects.

Maddie Shea Baldwin is a New York City based performer, originally from San Diego, California. After receiving her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre at Indiana University, she made her New York City theatre debut as an original cast member of Steve Martin & Edie Brickell's Broadway show, Bright Star. She then went on to play Margo Crawford in the 1st National Tour of Bright Star. Some of her other favorite credits include: Maria in The Sound of Music at Asolo Repertory Theatre, Penny in Bebe Winan’s Broadway bound musical Born For This at the Cutler Majestic Theatre (Arts Emerson), Bright Star at the Kennedy Center, Back Home Again at the Lesher Center, Ace and How the Grinch Stole… at The Old Globe Theatre. Some of her favorite New York theatre workshop credits include: James Lapine’s Flying Over Sunset at Playwrights Horizons, TRIAL at the Vineyard Theatre, and Priscilla Presley in StageWorks Production’s Elivs: The Musical. New York credits include: Ladyship and A Wall Apart (NYMF) and Emergency (Summerfest). Besides performing Maddie Shea is a full time cat mom to her cat Zuzu and travels to the West Coast as much as possible to be with her family. Jeremiah 29:11.

Morgan Hollingsworthis a New York based actor/composer. ACTING: Guy in Once (Broadway Rose Theatre Company); Nickel Mines (ACT of Connecticut & New York Musical Festival); The Farnsworth Invention (La Jolla Playhouse); Romeo+Juliet+Anybody’s (The Functional Shoes); The Fantasticks (New Swan Shakespeare Festival). COMPOSING: Script, score, and orchestrations for The House of Edgar Allan Poe: A Musical Based on His Life and Work, which was part of NYMF’s 2017 Developmental Reading Series and was part of Weber State University’s 2019 mainstage season; Margot’s Blessing (New Musicals Initiative), a musical written with librettist Lori Jaroslow about the process of overcoming opioid addiction, which he and Lori are currently expanding into a full-length musical. Morgan recorded a solo singer/songwriter EP exploring the pangs of toxic relationships, and will be releasing a studio-produced version of the EP in 2020. Morgan’s folk-rock band, Satin Nickel, released their self-titled EP in 2018 and will release their first full-length album Shadow of Doubt this April. Morgan was one of fourteen songwriters selected to attend the 2018 Johnny Mercer Songwriters Project. A proud graduate of Northwestern State University’s Theatre Department, Stephanie Hodgdon has entertained audiences all over the world. She is a versatile performing artist appearing in regional theatre, national commercials, on cruise ships, and reality tv. She’s also an accomplished visual artist across many mediums. Stephanie’s most recent creative feat is producing her own headlining act The Lady Sings Rock! A Tribute to the Kings and Queens of Rock and Roll. It’s a rock-of-all-ages concert with comedy, a seven piece rock and roll orchestra and some face melting vocal fireworks!
